Addie Brown was born and raised in Whitefish, Montana. After spending 20 years working in Washington DC, she found her way back home. Upon her return to Whitefish, a friend in Vietnam asked her to look after a rental property in Montana. Word soon got out and multiple friends in the area asked Addie to manage their properties for them.

Company Growth = New Needs

Addie Brown was born and raised in Whitefish, Montana. After spending 20 years working in Washington DC, she found her way back home. Upon her return to Whitefish, a friend in Vietnam asked her to look after a rental property in Montana. Word soon got out and multiple friends in the area asked Addie to manage their properties for them.

When she first started managing rentals, Addie also worked for a non-profit in the area. After taking on over 12 properties, Addie realized property management had become a job of its own and she decided to embark on the journey of working for herself. At Your Service Property Management Inc. was born, and Addie sought solutions to create the easiest processes possible.

When Addie’s journey into property management began, her and her husband did everything in-house. Together they managed everything from marketing the properties, to screening tenants, to property upkeep. 

At the time, Addie’s husband Roy was also a full-time teacher. Roy took on the task of processing all the applications, handling all the screening, and calling references. 

As the numbers of properties they managed grew, they realized they needed a more robust screening system and a faster way of processing applications. Speed, efficiency, and ease-of-use were vital to their operations.
