Please note that all fees paid via TurboTenant are non-refundable.

The reason for this is simple: we pay a lot out of pocket to 3rd party companies, including CC processing fees, transaction fees, screening fees and hosting & infrastructure costs. Because these costs are nonrefundable to us, unfortunately our ability to refund is limited. You can read more in our Terms of Use. In rare instances, TurboTenant may, at its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund of fees paid. While not inclusive, we have provided information below as a guide of criteria that may result in a refund. For questions related to the accuracy of a screening report, please contact TransUnion directly.

Not eligible for refund:

  • Landlord-Tenant issues (i.e. Landlord denied applicant, property not available - Please contact the landlord directly to resolve these matters)
  • No longer interested in property
  • Submitting inaccurate information on rental application
  • Delay in obtaining a Screening Report
  • Inaccurate information on Screening Report

Refund may be considered:

  • Technical malfunction
  • Duplicate fees
