Pricing FAQs
What is TurboTenant?
TurboTenant is an easy and free software platform for landlords and property managers to manage their rental properties. You can use TurboTenant to market your rental units, receive online rental applications, screen tenants, accept rent payments, and track expenses and maintenance requests.
Is TurboTenant really free?
Yes! We don’t trick landlords into a “free trial” – you can really access all of TurboTenant for $0, forever.
If you find you need additional perks, you can upgrade to our Premium plan at any time.
Are there any contracts I’ll need to sign?
No. Whether you’re a free or paid user, you’ll never be asked to sign a contract.
When does the renter pay the screening fee?
Renters pay when they apply to the property – this allows you to seamlessly get all their information and run a credit, criminal, and eviction check without having to coordinate payment at a later time.
If you aren’t looking for an application but still want to screen a tenant, the tenant will pay the fee when they verify their identity for the screening report.
What if I want to pay for the screening fee myself as the landlord?
The most common practice is for the landlord to pass that cost on to the tenant, but landlords can opt to pay this themselves when screening a tenant.
This often happens when a landlord has already collected a fee or if there are fee restrictions that apply to the property.
Can I still use TurboTenant if I only have a couple of units?
Of course! Most of our users have between 1 – 50 units. Whether you manage one property or hundreds, TurboTenant streamlines the entire rental process – for free.
Join the 1 million+ independent landlords who rely on TurboTenant to create welcoming rental experiences.
