Introducing the Home Guide, a new feature to save you time and help your tenants

Home Guide with Property Details Contacts and Information

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new feature in TurboTenant designed to make tenant move-ins smoother and communication easier: the Home Guide. With this tool, landlords can automatically share key property details and customize their home guides with helpful information like utility setup instructions, HOA rules, or even how to change the air filter.

We spoke to Sara, a Principal Product Manager at TurboTenant. Sara and her team build and maintain our mobile apps and features like Condition Reports and in-app messages—all focused on making the landlord and tenant experience as seamless as possible.

Here’s what she had to say about the new Home Guide feature and how it benefits our landlords!

  • The Home Guide: A new feature designed to make property management smoother by centralizing key details for your renters.
  • Reduce Repetitive Questions: Say goodbye to answering “Where’s the WiFi password?” and “How do I reset the thermostat?” over and over again.
  • All-in-One Information Hub: Store important information from appliance instructions to local recommendations in one easily accessible place.
  • Better Renter Experience: Empower renters with the information they need so they and you can spend time doing more of what you love.
  • Simplify Move-in & Move-out: Welcome a new tenant or share important reminders with a current tenant.
  • More Time, Less Hassle: Make your passive income truly passive by empowering your renters with all the information they need to answer their own questions.

To create a Home Guide in TurboTenant, navigate to the Leases tab, open a lease, and click on the “Home Guide” tab on the right.
